Introducing our exclusive Mermaid Lucia lightweight latex mermaid tail — designed as a more affordable and beginner-friendly alternative to a full silicone mermaid tail.
This tail is made from ultra-light eco-friendly latex material. The full tail weighs approximately 2 kg, making it much lighter than a traditional silicone tail and easier to carry, swim with, and travel with.
Latex has good elasticity and creates a smooth, glossy mermaid silhouette. However, latex is also more delicate than silicone and may tear if pulled, dragged, or handled roughly. Please wear and care for it gently.
This style is ideal for beginner mermaids, mermaid performers, photoshoots, pool use, and customers who want a lightweight mermaid tail option.

Please measure according to the size chart shown in the product photos, including measurements No. 1–6.
For the best result, please measure carefully and keep the measuring tape close to the body without pulling too tightly.
Important Latex Material Notice
Latex is lightweight, flexible, and glossy, but it is more delicate than silicone.
Please avoid:
Pulling or dragging the tail forcefully
Pressing with fingernails or sharp objects
Wearing the tail on rough, rusty, dirty, or mossy surfaces
Long periods of heavy friction
Direct sunlight for long storage periods
Harsh, acidic, alkaline, or corrosive cleaning products
Oil-based products, alcohol, solvents, or strong detergents

How to Wear the Mermaid Tail
Please wear the tail slowly and gently, similar to putting on stockings.
Do not pull hard from one point.
Do not drag the tail across the ground.
Do not force the material over the body.
Avoid using long fingernails directly against the latex.
We recommend wearing the tail in a clean and safe area.
Before wearing, please check your surroundings and make sure the environment is safe for swimming or photoshooting.
Use & Surface Warning
Please avoid using the tail on mossy, rusty, rough, or dirty surfaces.
Stains caused by moss, rust, dirt, or rough outdoor surfaces may be difficult or impossible to remove.
When putting on or taking off the tail, please choose a clean, smooth surface.
Light Dust or Marks
Because the tail and inner support parts may be produced, handled, and packed in our workshop, light dust or minor marks may appear on the tail or support board.
This is normal and usually can be rinsed off after placing the tail in clean water.
Cleaning & Care Instructions
After using the tail in seawater, please soak it in clean fresh water for about 5 minutes.
Use lukewarm or cool water with a mild neutral cleaner or latex-safe cleaner.
Gently rinse the tail by hand.
Do not scrub, twist, wring, or machine wash.
Avoid strong detergents, acidic cleaners, alkaline cleaners, alcohol, bleach, or corrosive cleaning products.
After cleaning, you may turn the tail inside out to help it dry.
Air dry in a cool, shaded, and well-ventilated place.
Do not dry under direct sunlight.
Do not expose the tail to strong heat.
When hanging to dry, please do not overstretch or pull the tail with force.
Storage
Please store the tail in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat, oils, and sharp objects.
Strong sunlight and heat may cause latex to age faster.
With proper daily care, the tail can stay in better condition and have a longer service life.
Important Notice
This is a handmade custom latex mermaid tail. Latex material is lightweight and flexible, but it is not as tear-resistant as silicone.
Please handle it carefully during wearing, swimming, cleaning, drying, and storage.
Damage caused by improper use, strong pulling, sharp objects, rough surfaces, rust, moss, incorrect cleaning, or poor storage is not considered a product quality issue.
Handmade pieces take time to create. Please allow for both production and shipping when planning for an event or special date.

Need to request a return or exchange?
Under Mermaid Lucia's voluntary return and exchange procedure, please contact us within 3 days after delivery if you need to request a return or exchange.
Customized and personalized products are subject to additional cancellation and return restrictions once production has started. Applicable statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Mermaid Lucia pieces are handmade and often include delicate fabrics, structured resin, crystals, beads, and specialty components. Gentle care helps preserve their shape, finish, and decorative details.
General care: Handle all Mermaid Lucia handmade products gently. Avoid strong pulling, squeezing, folding, impact, and contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces.

Resin Corsets & Resin Accessories
- Avoid strong impact, bending, squeezing, dropping, or heavy pressure.
- Keep away from sharp objects that may scratch the resin surface.
- After contact with water, gently remove excess moisture and allow the piece to air-dry completely.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
- Do not place heavy items on top of structured resin pieces.
- Store the item in a dry location without pressure on its shape.
- Do not intentionally heat, reshape, cut, glue, or modify the piece unless instructed by Mermaid Lucia.

Fabric Mermaid Tails
- Rinse gently with clean fresh water after use in pools, seawater, or natural water.
- Allow the tail to air-dry completely before storage.
- Do not leave the tail wet or tightly folded for extended periods.
- Avoid dragging the fluke across concrete, rocks, pool edges, or other abrasive surfaces.
- Keep away from sharp objects that may tear the fabric or damage the printed surface.
- Hand washing is recommended unless the individual product page states otherwise.
- Do not tumble dry.

Monofins & Tail Fin Support Boards
- Remove the monofin and removable support components carefully when appropriate before washing or long-term storage.
- Avoid forcing the support board through the fabric opening.
- Wear protective gloves during assembly where appropriate to help prevent scratches to the skin and accidental damage to the fabric.
- Support boards may be shipped rolled. Allow the board to gradually flatten before assembly.
- Do not sharply fold or crease the support board.

Fabric Tops, Skirts & Costumes
- Hand wash gently in cool water unless otherwise stated.
- Do not aggressively rub embroidered, beaded, crystal, lace, or decorative areas.
- Do not wring or twist.
- Air-dry naturally.
- Avoid tumble drying and excessive heat.

Crystals, Beads & Handmade Decorations
- Decorative pieces should be handled gently.
- Avoid pulling, scraping, or placing heavy pressure on crystals, beads, pearls, shells, and other handmade embellishments.
- Keep away from perfumes, harsh chemicals, adhesives, and abrasive cleaners.

- Make sure the item is completely dry before storing.
- Store in a clean, dry, ventilated location.
- Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, excessive heat, and high humidity.
