Shipping Policy

Mermaid Lucia products include handmade, made-to-order, and customized items. Production time and shipping time are separate periods and should be added together when estimating total delivery time.

Production Time

Estimated production times are generally:

• Most mermaid tails: approximately 2–4 weeks

• Resin corsets and fabric tops/skirts: approximately 4–8 weeks

Some highly customized or complex handmade products may require additional time.

Where a product page states a different production period, the information specifically provided for that product will apply.

In-stock items may be dispatched sooner.

Rush production is not automatically available. If you require an item for a particular date, please contact us before ordering.

A deadline should only be considered confirmed when Mermaid Lucia has specifically confirmed it in writing.

Shipping Methods

Shipping time begins only after production is complete and the order has been dispatched.

Standard Shipping

Estimated transit time:

10–18 business days after dispatch

Standard shipments may use YunExpress or another comparable international shipping service depending on the destination and parcel requirements.

Express Shipping

Estimated transit time:

5–7 business days after dispatch

Express shipments may use FedEx, UPS, DHL, or another comparable express courier.

Available methods and applicable shipping charges are displayed at checkout where possible.

Total Estimated Delivery Time

Your total estimated delivery time is:

Production Time + Shipping Time

For example, a handmade product requiring 4–8 weeks of production followed by standard shipping will require the production period first and then approximately 10–18 business days in transit.

Transit estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Tracking

Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.

Tracking may require a short period to update after the shipping label is created or the parcel is handed to the carrier.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

International orders may be subject to import duties, customs charges, taxes, VAT, brokerage charges, or carrier handling fees imposed by the destination country.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping charge.

Customs processing times are outside Mermaid Lucia's control.

Delivery Delays

Courier schedules are estimates.

Delays may occur because of customs inspections, weather, public holidays, carrier disruptions, remote destinations, incorrect delivery information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Such delays do not change the separate handmade production period and do not constitute a guaranteed-delivery failure unless Mermaid Lucia specifically confirmed a delivery deadline in writing.

Shipping Address

Please check your shipping address, recipient name, postcode, email address, and telephone number carefully before submitting your order.

Mermaid Lucia does not accept PO Box addresses for orders requiring courier delivery.

Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot guarantee that the shipping address can be changed or that the parcel can be intercepted.

Any courier fee resulting from a customer-requested address change may be charged to the customer.

Failed or Refused Delivery

If a parcel cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to collect the parcel, refusal of delivery, or refusal to pay applicable import charges, the customer may be responsible for any additional shipping, return, customs, or handling costs.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an address or delivery problem.
